Fruit Logistica 2017 Berlin: We will be there!
EXHIBITIONS
According to FAO, Global fruit production has experienced a remarkable increase with an output growing at an annual rate of about 3 percent over the last decade. In 2011, almost 640 million tones of fruit were gathered throughout the world. Greece is amongst the European Leaders of Agricultural Production with Fruits being an important part of its’ exports to worldwide destinations.
With the growing understanding of the importance of Fruit being a steady part of a healthy diet, comes the constant increase in the demand of fresh quality products. However, the growing demand in addition to the yearly increase of the production costs, puts pressure on the farmers to produce bigger quantities while maintaining reasonable Cost levels. Consumers on the other hand become more environmentally responsible and concerned about safe, residue-free products, whose production has little or no effect on the Environment.
At this point handlers and food chain suppliers enter the equation and are obligated to bring consumers quality products at reasonable prices while making sure that farmers follow all rules and laws regarding Safe Agricultural Practices.
A perfect meeting point for fruit suppliers to meet, discuss and exchange views on the new challenges regarding all the above is the Fruit Logistica Exhibition, held on an annual basis in Berlin, Germany. With Fruit Logistica being one of the most important Fruit Exhibitions worldwide, Proto is an obvious participant.
Proto distinguishes itself amongst its Global competitors, not only because it follows the strictest of global standards for its Fruit, but also because Quality is more than a marketing stereotype. Apart from our team of Agronomists who roam Greece and choose among the best of the Global Gap certified producers, Proto is staffed in all its key positions by specialists who inspire all its members with the mentality of High-Quality Fresh Fruit.
For 2017, on February 8th until February 10th, the Proto team will once again join Fruit Logistica, led by the Owner and Founder Mr Nikos Protofanousis, Board Chairman Mr Alexandros Protofanousis and Export Director and Agronomist Mr George Kallitsis. During the Exhibition interested parties can meet the Proto team, discuss the Global Fruit Business, be informed on the new technologies that Proto has already begun to apply to its’ farmers, its newest investments on cutting edge sorting equipment and what has in store for the years to come!
You will find our friendly and modern booth at Hall 2.1, Stand D-02.
See you in Berlin!
